Frequently Asked Questions for future tours

Is it safe to travel abroad and go on tour?

Whist the risk of contracting COVID-19 is still present, the global rollout of the COVID-19 vaccination has been a key factor in the world reopening and life returning back to normal.

Precision Pass is working closely with accommodation, transport and other event suppliers to help ensure the latest hygiene and health and safety standards are in place throughout the tour.

It is our foremost priority to provide a safe and enjoyable tour experience for everybody attending our tours. Our events will be planned in accordance with the most recent government guidance and FCO travel advice. We will maintain regular contact with tour organisers to provide updates on circumstances and to fulfil special requests as closely as possible.

What happens in the case of cancellation?
  • If you decide to cancel your trip and there are no FCO travel restrictions in place at the time of departure, then cancellation will be subject to our terms and conditions. Please inform us as soon as possible if you wish to take this action so the most effective resolution can be made.
  • If your tour has an imminent departure and there is FCO travel restrictions in place, we will firstly look to postpone your tour or offer an alternative (either a different destination or date). If you do not wish to accept this you will be entitled to a refund (100% Money-Back Guarantee). Precision Pass will communicate guidance on refund procedures with tour organisers.
What insurance do I need to go on tour?

Each team should purchase insurance suitable for their needs (including delays for events involving travel by land, sea, or air) before the event. It is important that your travel insurance includes cover for participating in sporting activities. Companies offering this include: https://www.sportsguard.co.uk/sports-travel-insurance/.

What happens if someone tests positive during the tour?

All individuals should follow Government guidance on testing positive for COVID-19. Individuals should immediately self-isolate for 10 days and until returning a negative test. The individual should make a claim via their travel insurance to recover costs if testing positive during the tour and is therefore unable to experience the full tour.
